Leave it up to Steven Meisel to shoot this breathtaking cover and spread for Vogue Italia. Having been working for Vogue since the mid 80's and month after month delivering clear messages through his genius shooting, Meisel continues to cross boundaries in the June 2011 issue. On the cover are three incredibly gorgeous and curvaceous woman wearing black lingerie sitting at a table with bowls full of pasta. Editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani was aiming to speak out against anorexia and even started a petition to shut down websites that promoted anorexia. And of course, being Italian, the lines of fashion portrayed in a beautifully seductive way unlike any issue of American Vogue ever would.
